As part of the public consultation on the EIB Environmental and Social Sustainability Framework the EIB will be organising a series of webinars for interested stakeholders. These will cover the EIB Environmental and Social Policy, the eleven Standards, and cross-cutting issues such as human rights.
Following a short presentation, stakeholders will be invited to exchange directly with a panel of relevant EIB experts about issues at stake within the review. Participants will also be given the opportunity to submit written questions and comments.
All events will be held via Webex and participation is free of charge.
The events will be held in English, however interpretation will be provided into French. Spanish and Portuguese will also be provided for the webinars on Standard 6 (Involuntary resettlement) and Standard 7 (Vulnerable groups and Indigenous Peoples).
The thirteen webinars will run from Tuesday, 22 June to Friday, 9 July, and will all take place from 13:00 to 15:00 (CEST). For more information, including the schedule and access links, please consult the dedicated webpage.
