President Biden’s decision to waive the local match for FEMA Emergency Protective Measures means an additional $5,978,652.76 to the Marianas, the Federal Emergency Management Agency announced. The funding goes to the Commonwealth Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. $2,730,508.33 will be used for medical supplies and equipment related to the COVID-19 pandemic and $3,248,144.43 for the alternate care site.
