Servicemen of the combined arms army of the Western Military District (ZVO) of the Voronezh Region donated more than 50 liters of blood during a charity event dedicated to World Immunity Day.

Blood donations were donated at the Voronezh Regional Clinical Hospital using modern equipment. Before the plasmapheresis and cytapheresis procedures, the servicemen underwent a mandatory medical examination, during which they visited a general practitioner, and also passed a test for the Rh factor and blood group.

When collecting blood, only disposable individual sterile systems were used, which exclude the possibility of contamination of the donor with infectious diseases. After being checked in the laboratory, the blood was transferred to medical institutions to help patients in need.

Servicemen of the combined arms army of the Western Military District regularly take part in voluntary donor programs in compliance with the requirements of the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the region.

In total, over 500 servicemen of the combined arms army of the Western Military District will arrive at the blood transfusion station within a week.
