The renovation program for the Moscow housing stock was approved on August 1, 2017. It includes 5175 houses. This is about 350 thousand apartments, in which about one million people live. The first million square meters under the renovation program was built by December 2020.
1061 houses are to be resettled in the Eastern Administrative District. For wave resettlement, 82 launch sites with a predicted potential of 1.6 square meters were selected. About 300 families have already received new apartments.
