In the capital, the wing of the city estate of D.F. Novikova – A.N. Davydova is a cultural heritage site. The specialists put in order the Monier vaults, stoves, decorative elements, and the roof. They also connected the building to utilities.

“The building of the outbuilding of the Novikov-Davydov city estate was built according to the project of the architect Pyotr Alekseevich Vinogradov. In recent years, it was not used and was in an emergency condition. The Moscow City Heritage Site has repeatedly forced the owner to carry out work to preserve the unique architectural monument. It is gratifying that today the restoration has come to an end. He also added that the specialists have made the removal of the destroyed fragments of the firewall wall, restored the joinery fillings, the truss structure, partially recreated the layout, replaced the damaged sections of the wooden walls, strengthened the foundations.


The main wooden house of the estate was built in the 1830s on the basis of the older chambers of the late 18th century. The customer was the collegiate assessor D.F. Novikov. After some time, the merchant Aleksey Davydov became the new owner, who rebuilt the building in the eclectic style in 1878-1881.

Over the past 10 years, more than 1,500 monuments have been put in order in the capital. Specialists spend both complex restoration and individual restoration work.
