As part of routine combat training exercises, servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh completed a number of training tasks at the Stepanakert and Mardakert training grounds.

During the fire training sessions, the servicemen fired at various types of targets from machine guns and machine guns, sniper rifles, and under-barrel and hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers.

Despite the round-the-clock duty of Russian peacekeepers at observation posts, the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent has planned classes in the main types of combat training, including tactical, tactical-special, fire, as well as driving combat vehicles and other special vehicles.

In total, about 200 Russian servicemen are involved in combat training.

In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 Moscow time on November 10 this year. a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh have been declared.

A peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation is deployed to control the ceasefire and military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The core of the Russian contingent is made up of units of the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade (peacekeeping) of the Central Military District.
