On the eve of the New Year and Christmas holidays, the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent congratulated the servicemen serving at observation posts in Nagorno-Karabakh on the coming New Year. At their posts, servicemen were given New Year’s sets, sweet gifts and letters to the Soldier Peacemaker from children from various regions of Russia, written on the eve of the holidays.

In total, over 2 thousand New Year gifts, as well as 600 letters and about 1.5 thousand postcards with New Year’s greetings, made by children with their own hands, were delivered to the servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh.

In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 Moscow time on November 10 this year. a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh have been declared.

A peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation is deployed to control the ceasefire and military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The core of the Russian contingent is made up of units of the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade (peacekeeping) of the Central Military District.
