A training complex for training future firefighters and rescuers was opened at the State Fire Service Academy of the EMERCOM of Russia. The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of EMERCOM of Russia Alexander Chupriyan, heads of specialized departments of the department, as well as the head of the Academy Vyacheslav Butko.

The new complex is designed to conduct trainings that will allow practicing both individual elements and sequential actions of future firefighters to overcome an obstacle course, search for and evacuate victims, and directly extinguish fire sources.

Every year in the educational and training complex, more than a thousand listeners, cadets and university students will be able to gain multifaceted practical training. The complex is equipped with a tactical and psychological training class for participants in extinguishing a fire, a forensic training ground, interactive simulators and dummies. In it, students will be able to work out exercises for conducting reconnaissance by GDZS units in rooms with a complex layout, limited space and with various obstacles; skills in working with rescue tools; main stages, methods and rules of control of unmanned aerial vehicles; use of primary fire extinguishing means – fire extinguishers; practical actions on a fire ladder; sequence of actions when working on a fire pump.

This complex helps to increase the level of readiness of university graduates, which will be useful in the future in the elimination of real emergencies and accidents.
