About 1,000 servicemen of motorized rifle and tank units of the combined arms army of the Western Military District returned to their permanent deployment points after the completion of a large-scale field exit.

As part of the field exit, servicemen hit paired targets of a three-level system at a distance of 50 to 800 meters using modern Kalashnikov AK-74M “Obves”, AK-12 machine guns, Kalashnikov “Pecheneg” machine guns and RPG-7 hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers.

During the field exit, special attention was paid to the fulfillment of tactical tasks in defense and offensive with a change of firing positions surrounded by imitation equipment that creates the effect of being present on the modern battlefield.

In the course of driving lessons, driver mechanics of BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles and BTR-82A armored personnel carriers in convoys and in single races, combining the maximum permissible speed, made high-speed overcoming of various artificial and natural obstacles: anti-tank ditch, ravines, ford, slopes, a mechanized track bridge and a track track in a minefield.

The training of tank and motorized rifle subunits of the Vislenskaya and Yelninskaya motorized rifle divisions was completed by conducting combat firing as part of motorized rifle squads and platoons, as well as performing a tactical and fire exercise of firing from tanks

In total, about 1,000 servicemen were involved in practical exercises at training grounds in the Voronezh, Smolensk and Bryansk regions, and about 300 units of weapons and military equipment were involved.
