Joseph Yang led Beijing with 24 points, followed by 18 from Zhang Fan. Wang Shaojie added 16 points and nine rebounds.
Marshon Brooks had a game-high 26 points for Guangdong. Zhou Peng contributed 20 points and nine rebounds. Sony Weems had 16 points and seven rebounds. Zhao Rui added 13 points.
Guangdong led Beijing 56-50 at the break before the defending champion surged a 7-0 run in the third quarter to expand the lead to 12 points to enter the final period. Guangdong asserted dominance in the last quarter with a 12-0 spurt to put the game beyond reach.
