Resting people should not interfere with forest dwellers.

During the New Year holidays, Mospriroda employees will patrol parks and green areas in an enhanced mode. Muscovites who are planning a walk in the specially protected areas of the capital should carefully study the information stands and familiarize themselves with the visiting rules.

A common violation in the winter is entering the territory of natural objects by personal transport. Also, vacationers often forget that it is forbidden to make an open fire and use barbecues outside of special areas.

In natural areas, you must not drink alcohol, litter, launch fireworks and other pyrotechnics. Loud sounds and bright flashes, especially in the dark, frighten wild animals. Pyrotechnics can kill small birds and mammals. Even harmless firecrackers will disturb the forest dwellers. In addition, launching fireworks can cause a fire.

Visitors to the parks should not forget that natural areas are primarily a home for animals, birds and plants. Many of them are included in the Red Book of Moscow. For example, the water vole (the third category of rarity) and wood mouse (fourth category of rarity), and in Izmailovsky Park they noticed pine marten… The natural areas of Moscow are inhabited by zhelna, woodcock, kestrel, black-headed gull, river tern, lapwing and other rare birds… Celebrating the New Year should not be a threat to them.
