This year, the situation with the pandemic demanded a new scheme for organizing the work of the department. Thus, the signalmen of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia organized remote work of some of the department’s specialists, as well as remote holding of meetings.
This year, for the first time, centralized in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation, a comprehensive check of the readiness of public warning systems was carried out with the launch of electric sirens and street loudspeakers. The result is a positive experience. Starting next year, similar inspections will be carried out annually, twice a year – on the first Wednesday of March and October of each year. In addition, it was noted that this year the number of regions in which System-112 was put into commercial operation has been increased from 43 to 63. This work will be continued.
At the end of the meeting, V. Nichiporchuk outlined the priority tasks in the field of digitalization of the department for 2021.
“In the coming year, the department will continue to work on digital transformation, introducing information technology into the emergency prevention and response system. The purpose of this work should be to provide a comfortable and safe environment for the life of the population, ”said the head of digital transformation of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
