The program was originally targeted at young people. But Muscovites of different ages showed interest in her. As a result, the age of 30 participants exceeded 45 years. The oldest was 55 years old.

Participants could choose one of three competencies for training. The course “Maintaining a corporate account in social networks” attracted 37 percent of the listeners, “The skill of creating a one-page website (landing page) on a designer” – 33 percent, and “Content management for an online store” – 30 percent.

“I have acquired skills in maintaining accounts in social networks and a great desire to further develop in this direction. It was very pleasant to receive a certificate of completion of the training. A real discovery for me was the webinar on registration as a self-employed: I didn’t think it was that simple, ”shared Marina Pirogova, one of the course participants.

Many graduates of the “Business Weekend. Competencies “have already received the first orders.

“My first order after training is related to the promotion of a page in the social network“ Instagram ”of a manicure and pedicure master. After analyzing her account, I suggested making a number of adjustments to it. We agreed that after the end of the high season, in mid-January, we will start working on this, ”said another participant in the project, Svetlana Murashova.

And Anastasia Tikhonova, a graduate of the website prototyping course, started an order for the creation of a landing page dedicated to registering for online chess training.

“Now I am making a prototype to agree on it and start implementing it. At the same time, I am developing a corporate identity for the project in parallel, ”she said.

“Business weekend. Competencies ”- a series of practical webinars for Muscovites planning to become self-employed. The program has been running since the beginning of November as part of of the project “Business weekend”… This is a free urban education project for college and university students on the basics of entrepreneurship. It includes one-day quests and trainings, long-term study programs, as well as the “Young Entrepreneur of Moscow” and “Student Entrepreneurship Festival” forums. Since the launch of the project, over 70,000 Muscovites have taken part in the Business Weekend events.
