The Luohu District Committee of Communist Party of China (CPC) held a meeting on Dec. 23 to study the contents of the Central Economic Work Conferencefrom Dec.16 to 18, as well as recent deployments of the provincial and municipal authorities.
Luohu Party chief Luo Yude presided over the meeting, where it was emphasized that district civil servants and Party members should fully recognize historic socio-economic development achievements over the past five years, try their best to ensure a good beginning in implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25), and use excellent performances to greet the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.
The meeting pointed out that Luohu should carry out the new development concept, realize the new development paradigm and pursue quality development.
Officials of the district should always bear in mind its target of building an “all-embracing hub” of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and carry out the higher authorities’ deployments to the letter.
The district shouldstriveto become a concentration spot of high-end production factors and constantly improve its development quality and efficiency.
The district should promote innovation, ensuring Luohu became a highland of innovation. There should be a focus on the link between the internal and external circulation, playing up the district’s strengths in port economy, commerce and consumption, and becoming a cross-border consumption and business service cooperation zone; Luohu should explore a path in megacity governance, spread the Fishers village community’s experience to promote good governance in 83 communities across Luohu, and make the governance smart and efficient.
All civil servants and Party members in Luohu are required to ensure a strong link between the urban planning work over the past and future five years, and lay a solid foundation for the quality socio-economic development in the coming period.
Stress was laid on all relevant departments fulfilling their responsibilities to ensure work, food and transport safety during the year-end festive season so that the people could enjoy a peaceful and happy new year.
