The Government today approved $5.63 million in grants for two relief agencies to help flood victims in Vietnam.

The grants, $1.938 million for Plan International Hong Kong and $3.692 million for World Vision Hong Kong, will be used to provide food, hygiene and household kits for about 59,820 flood victims.

To ensure the money is properly used, the relief agencies must submit evaluation reports and audited accounts after the relief projects are completed.
