Military doctors of the Black Sea Fleet received the first patients in a mobile hospital deployed in the city of Yalta, Republic of Crimea.

All admitted citizens were examined by qualified medical specialists and will continue to receive all the necessary medical assistance in the infectious diseases and hospital departments of the mobile hospital. All patients admitted to inpatient treatment are under constant supervision of qualified military doctors.

To provide the necessary assistance to the population of Crimea, the hospital has at its disposal the most modern medical equipment – artificial lung ventilation devices, monitors for intensive observation of patients, X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, blood analyzers, as well as the necessary supply of medicines.

Earlier, the personnel of special-purpose medical units of the Southern Military District and the Black Sea Fleet in the shortest possible time were transferred from Rostov-on-Don and Sevastopol to assist the population of the republic in the fight against coronavirus infection.

In accordance with the instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the decision of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, two mobile hospitals of the Russian Ministry of Defense are being deployed in order to provide medical care to the residents of the Crimean Peninsula.

Earlier, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, requested the deployment of 200-bed hospitals in Yalta and Simferopol.
