The work will be fully completed in 2021.

Near the station of the Moscow Central Diameter (MCD-2) Pechatniki, a square, comfortable sidewalks and a cozy square appeared. The work was carried out as part of the improvement, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for housing and communal services and improvement Petr Biryukov.

“This year, Shosseynaya Street entered the improvement zone, the work on it has been completed, next year measures to improve the transport and pedestrian accessibility of the new station will continue on Guryanov Street,” the deputy mayor noted.

Previously, the road to the station was inconvenient: sidewalks were destroyed, in some places there were none at all, and the road was poorly lit. When the station opens, the number of pedestrians will increase significantly. The new square, sidewalks and square will be convenient for passengers and local residents.

“As part of the improvement, the sidewalks were put in order: they were widened, the asphalt-concrete pavement was replaced, and they were separated from the roadway with a curb,” said Pyotr Biryukov. – In places of the so-called folk paths, paths were arranged, and for the convenience of pedestrians in the area of the Pechatniki metro station we made a large area.

For public transport passengers, two modern stopping pavilions were installed on the territory adjacent to the station. They provide shelter from the weather and charge mobile phones. Also, the square near the house 11 on Shosseinaya street was renovated. They replaced the old pavement with concrete tiles and installed new lanterns with energy-saving lamps.

It is planned to fully complete the improvement of the territory adjacent to the Pechatniki station by its commissioning in 2021.

New station Pechatniki MCD-2 will improve transport accessibility of three districts
