St. Petersburg Nakhimovites of the 6th and 7th training courses became the absolute winners of the XI All-Russian Festival of Poetry in a Foreign Language “Inspiratio”, organized by the 67th gymnasium of St. Petersburg. In the nomination “Dramatization of a Poetic Work” they presented the classic work “Romeo and Juliet”, transposed to the rhythm of rap. The performance of Anton Popov and Ivan Pik (111th grade) impressed the jury with their English pronunciation. The Nakhimovites received the maximum scores on the following criteria: phonetics and literacy, expressiveness of presentation, acting, decoration and, of course, direction.

To perform a unique work, the 11th grade Nakhimovites Anton Popov and Vitaly Arepiev independently created music, to which they performed the play on stage with Ivan Pik, Daniil Artemov, Ivan Gretchenko, Vladimir Sysuev, Ivan Tikhonov, Maxim Pascal, Leonid Bolshakov and Ivan Alekseev. Participants of the Art-Wave art studio Nikolay Rodin, Oleg Ulanov and Yegor Mishcherin created props and costumes, artistically and creatively designed the work.
