1865 patients with COVID-19 were hospitalized per day.

Over the past day, 5641 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Moscow. 1,865 people were hospitalized. 539 patients are now connected to mechanical ventilation devices. This was announced by the operational headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus in Moscow.

39.2 percent of the cases are people aged 18 to 45 years, 32.3 percent – from 46 to 65 years old, 12.5 percent – from 66 to 79 years old, 4.6 percent – over 80 years old. Another 11.4 percent are children. All the sick and the townspeople in contact with them are under medical supervision.

Until January 15, 2021, the city has suspended cultural, exhibition, educational, leisure, entertainment and entertainment events with the participation of spectators. From 23:00 to 06:00, clubs and restaurants cannot receive visitors.

The home regime is recommended for Muscovites over 65 and people with chronic diseases. Employers are required to transfer at least 30 percent of employees to remote work, and students in grades 6-11 study remotely.
