A still from the film “The Wizards”. Directed by K. Bromberg. 1982 year

The participants will have to answer nine questions about the filming of the most festive films of Soviet cinema.

Whose photo fell from the balcony in Ryazanov’s film, how was the scene of the flight of the blacksmith Vakula filmed, where the cheerful graduate student Kostik lived, and what did the wizards from the film “Sorcerers” talk about? All this will have to be remembered in order to answer the questions of the online quest dedicated to New Year’s films. You can go through it on the portal “Get to know Moscow” December 28th. To participate in the game, you must register on the portal.

“The quest is dedicated to films, without which many of us can no longer imagine the New Year holidays. Among them – “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!”, “Sorcerers”, “Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka” and others. By answering the questions, users will be able to refresh their memory of episodes from their favorite films and learn more about the history of their creation, ”said the curator of IT projects in the field of culture and business

Information Technology Department Sergey Shakryl.

The first questions of the quiz are dedicated to the famous love triangle from Eldar Ryazanov’s New Year’s film “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!” Although the film was released almost 45 years ago (January 1, 1976), the secrets of staging some of the scenes will leave players puzzled. They will have to answer where exactly the bath episode of the meeting of old friends was filmed.

Many eminent artists fought for the right to play with Ryazanov. For example, Lyudmila Gurchenko, Svetlana Nemolyaeva and Antonina Shuranova could become Nadia. And the role of Ippolit went to Yuri Yakovlev after the start of filming. Initially, Nadia’s groom was played by another artist. The participants in the quest must indicate in which scene of the film he did appear.

Some of the tasks are dedicated to the New Year’s fairy tale “The Wizards” by Konstantin Bromberg, as scripted by the brothers Boris and Arkady Strugatsky. This two-part film was released in 1982. The main roles were played by Alexander Abdulov and Alexandra Yakovleva. The audience remembered the picture for the non-trivial story from the life of modern wizards and the funny song “Three White Horses”. Many replicas of the protagonists diverged into quotes and became winged. One of them, for example, will be remembered by the participants.

The quest ends with questions about Mikhail Kozakov’s comedy “Pokrovskie Vorota” (1982). It is necessary to answer where the communal apartment was located, into which the sparkling joker Kostik moved, and at which capital rink the scene of the meeting of the main characters was filmed.

“Know Moscow” is a joint project of the Moscow departments of information technology, culture, cultural heritage, education and science. The portal contains descriptions of more than two thousand monuments, museums and historical sites in Moscow. It contains information about famous figures of science and art, published 140 thematic routes in the districts and sights of the capital. Also, 76 online quests are available on the project website.
