On December 26 this year, on the eve of the New Year celebrations, the Deputy Commander of the Airborne Forces for Construction, Major General Leonid Shevchenko, handed the keys to the service apartments to the servicemen of the guards unit of the Airborne Forces. Together with representatives of the administration of the Moscow region and the city of Naro-Fominsk, representatives of the military construction complex and service organizations, the first 39 sets of keys from service apartments were issued

The service apartments became a doubly joyful event due to the fact that they were presented on the day of the formation of their military unit – the anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Tula Guards Airborne Force, stationed in the Naro-Fominsk district of the Moscow region.

“In recent years, with the active support of the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense, we have made quite dynamic progress in providing housing for our servicemen. To date, about 6 thousand families have already received service housing, and more than two and a half thousand servicemen have exercised their right to receive permanent housing, ”said Major General Leonid Shevchenko at the opening of the house.

Servicemen of the artillery unit of the Airborne Forces stationed in Naro-Fominsk will also visit the new service apartments.

In total, almost 300 families of the Airborne Forces will become owners of the long-awaited keys to new service apartments in two new buildings.
