On the march, the servicemen repulsed the attack of the sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the mock enemy and overcame the area contaminated with toxic substances in personal protective equipment, carried out partly special processing of the equipment with regular means.

During the training, military signalmen worked out the issues of ensuring communication during the march, organizing communication using open, closed and satellite communication channels between field communication centers of the compound in conditions of the enemy’s use of electronic warfare (EW).

In addition, the personnel of the communications units complied with the standards for the deployment, operation and movement of equipment stations and command and staff vehicles both in the daytime and at night.

For the training, modern samples of communication technology were used: medium-power radio stations, radio relay stations, command-staff vehicles of various modifications and hardware communications, satellite communication stations and power supply stations. In total, more than 100 servicemen and about 30 units of special communications equipment were involved in the training.
