At the Adanak training ground in Dagestan, a tactical exercise with live firing was carried out with units of the Caspian Flotilla (CFL) marines.
As part of the exercise, the battalion tactical group of the marines stealthily advanced on military equipment to the concentration area. Then, in the course of offensive operations, the servicemen marched at the Adanak training ground, where they took up combat positions. Fire support of the BTGr was carried out by the attached artillery units.
Having deployed from the march, the crews of the 120-mm mortars 2S12 “Sani” conducted live firing at the detected targets with high-explosive fragmentation mines. With concentrated fire, the mortars suppressed the firing points and artillery of the conditional enemy.
In turn, during the offensive battle, the main forces of the BTGr, with the support of artillery and armored vehicles, carried out blocking, raiding and bypassing actions. As a result of live fire from standard weapons, the “black berets” hit more than 300 targets imitating military equipment, fire weapons and manpower of the “enemy”.
In total, about 500 CFL servicemen were involved in the exercise, more than 100 units of military and special equipment were involved.
