Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a shooting in Newham.
Police were called to Dunbar Lane at 18:07hrs on Monday, 21 December following reports that shots had been fired close to the junction with Upton Lane.
Officers attended and a cordon was established. There were no reports of any injuries.
An investigation is now underway and detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information about those responsible, to come forward.
They are particularly keen to trace a black Ford C-Max with roof bars that was seen in the area at the time of the incident.
So far, no arrests have been made but enquiries continue.
