Washington, D.C. – Today Representative Dina Titus of Nevada’s First Congressional District, a Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, celebrated the House passage of a resolution she introduced to reaffirm the strategic partnership between the U.S. and Mongolia. The bipartisan resolution, H.Res. 1100, unanimously passed the House of Representatives.
“As Co-Chair of the Congressional Mongolia Caucus, I am proud to lead the effort in the House to recognize Mongolia on the 30th anniversary of its democracy,” said Congresswoman Titus (NV-1). “Mongolia is a strategic partner that has demonstrated its commitment to good governance and the rule of law despite being surrounded by authoritarian regimes. We must continue to strengthen our partnership and showcase our shared respect for democratic values and human rights.”
