34 young graduate pilots in 2020 arrived at the military transport aviation unit in Tver, as well as at military units in Ivanovo, Pskov, Seshcha, Ryazan, Tula and Plesetsk for further military service.

After the arrival, the command of the compound took measures to put servicemen on all types of allowances, as well as to provide housing at the place of service. Each graduate was assigned experienced mentors from among the management team. Also, young officers passed the standards for tactical, technical, special, combat, physical and fire training and general military regulations.

After graduating from the flight educational institutions of the Aerospace Forces, out of 34 people, 18 were assigned to assistants to the commanders of ships on the Il-76, 3-An-26, 9-An-2, 4-Mi-8. Half of them have already been approved for flights.

After the New Year holidays, the rest of the graduates will only have to master the new Il-76 aviation complex. For this they will be sent to the 610 Center for Combat Use and Flight Personnel Retraining in Ivanovo. There they will take a course on the theory of the Il-76 aircraft under the guidance of instructor pilots, which will last 1.5-2 months.

After completing the training, the pilots will be allowed to fly this type of aircraft as assistants to the commanders of ships on the Il-76 in their military units.
