In Moscow, there were recorded cases of sending fake uniform payment documents. Notifications of non-existent debts are sent to e-mail with a request to repay them in a certain way. If the user started the payment and entered the bank card details, then the fraudsters gain access to his account and can withdraw money at any time.
Before transferring money, Muscovites should make sure that the management organization sent the notification of the debt. We need to compare it with paper receipts for previously issued invoices or with electronic payments that come monthly to your personal account on mos.ru. Do not forget that only subscribed users of this service can receive such documents by e-mail. If it is connected, you need to carefully study the document.
There are several ways to identify a fake receipt. Firstly, in the genuine current single payment document, the full name and address, the payer’s code, tariffs for all types of services, the amount of resource consumed, benefits and recalculations, the total and living area of the apartment, the number of registered citizens and beneficiaries, the date of invoicing and the last payment. Secondly, if there is a debt, the outer side of the paper payment is always pink and has the title “Debt document”.
If the receipt is in doubt, you need to contact the managing organization for help or to the nearest center of public services “My Documents”.
