Ukraine is pursuing the policy of reforms and remains committed to this path.
This was emphasized by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during an online meeting with the head of the IMF mission in Ukraine Ivanna Vladkova-Hollar. The meeting was held on December 21 in the format of a video conference and was dedicated to the launch of the International Monetary Fund mission in Ukraine.
“Despite the difficult economic situation, we will still adhere to the principles and commitments we have reached with our international financial partners, with the IMF in particular,” the Prime Minister stressed.
During the conversation, Denys Shmyhal told Ms. Ivanna Vladkova-Hollar that Ukraine had already adopted a budget that would help ensure macroeconomic stability.
“We have a clear vision of how we will advance in terms of reforms, including in the anti-corruption and judicial sector,” the PM said.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine welcomed the start of the activity of the IMF mission in Ukraine. He also thanked the representatives of the Government, the Office of the President, the National Bank of Ukraine and all those involved for the work done to launch the mission.
