In Kamchatka, pilots of the helicopter squadron of the mixed aviation regiment of the Troops and Forces in the North-East of Russia worked out night flights over the coast and water area of ​​Avacha Bay.

During the flight shifts, the crews of Ka-27PS search and rescue helicopters worked out the search for conditionally injured radio equipment on an emergency signal, and also improved their skills in holding the helicopter over a given point in adverse weather conditions.

In addition, the helicopter pilots of the naval aviation practiced piloting, navigation and passing a given route over a non-orientated terrain.

The main task of the training flights was to increase the training of the Ka-27PS helicopter crews to independently search for people in distress on water and land, as well as to conduct rescue operations at night.
