Teachers of colleges and universities, as well as methodologists, will be able to take free advanced training courses in the field of digital technologies at the Innopolis University. The decree on the rules for granting subsidies for these purposes was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

In particular, such courses will teach how to introduce digital technologies into educational programs and apply them in teaching specialized disciplines. This will increase the digital literacy of specialists and help them stay in demand in their profession.

In the future, teachers will be able to adapt their disciplines so that students receive knowledge in the field of IT and end-to-end technologies, and then apply them in their chosen profession, including engineering, medicine, pedagogy, agriculture, economics. For example, it can be quantum and neurotechnologies, robotics and sensorics components, wireless communication technologies, virtual and augmented reality.

A support center is already being created on the basis of Innopolis, which will unite colleges and universities for the joint development of new educational programs, according to which professionals in various fields will be trained. In addition, the university will have a unified educational and methodological center for the training of teachers in the areas of IT specialties. They will also train future developers, specialists in robotics and information security.

Federal funding is provided for all these purposes. The subsidy will help cover the costs of salaries for employees and hired specialists, as well as the costs of renting premises and purchasing software.

The work is carried out within the framework of the federal project “Human Resources for the Digital Economy” of the national program “Digital Economy”.
