The cadets of the 2nd faculty took part in the Lesson of Courage, which was held for them by the Heroes of the Russian Federation – Nabi Makhmadzhanovich Akramov and Alexander Nikolaevich Golovashkin.

The lesson, during which the participants asked questions about the life and exploits of Nabi Akramov and Alexander Golovashkin, was held in the videoconference mode.

At the beginning of the lesson, the anthem of the Russian Federation was performed by soloists and members of the youth army.

Beginning the lesson, the leader Vladimir Kuzmin, regional representative of OFFICERS OF RUSSIA in St. Petersburg, member of the regional headquarters of the UNARMIA, told the cadets and youth soldiers about the history of Heroes of the Fatherland Day, after which those present heard the stories of the main characters of the lesson.

The history of the feat of Nabi Akramov – deputy chairman of the regional branch of DOSAAF of Russia in Moscow, Hero of the Soviet Union, reserve colonel, began on March 16, 1982, when he, being the commander of the 6th motorized rifle company of the 149th Guards motorized rifle regiment, received an order to block the exit of the Mujahideen from the village of Shafikheil, where the commander-in-chief of the Islamic front Khandar was. The commander managed to move unnoticed by the enemy on the way of his retreat from the village to the mountains and take a position to organize an ambush. In hand-to-hand combat, Senior Lieutenant Akramov and his subordinates managed to destroy 36 Mujahideen, including the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Front Khandar and his personal guards. As a result of the battle, 36 mujahideen were destroyed and 6 were taken prisoner. The battle went from 8 am to 6 pm. Thanks to the skilful organization of the battle and the personal courage of Senior Lieutenant Akramov, his unit did not suffer losses in this battle.

Nabi Akramov urged young guys to achieve their dreams and goals. In his parting words to the cadets of the academy, he said: “The most important thing – do not forget that you, in addition to the oath, also take the Hippocratic oath, do not forget about it. I had a paramedic who assisted an enemy without legs, and this speaks of our Russian soul, we have a fighting soul.

The history of the feat of Alexander Golovashkin took place on May 12, 2007. During their regular business trip in the territory of Dagestan, the city of Khasavyurt, operational officers of the special subdivision of the SOBR “Bulat” of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region searched for armed bandits. During the check of the home ownership there was a clash with criminals armed with automatic weapons. Seriously wounded, Alexander Golovashkin ordered the main forces to withdraw, covering the group’s withdrawal. He was taken out by his colleagues and taken to the Khasavyurt central regional hospital with shrapnel wounds and a severe wound to the head. For a long time he was treated in a hospital in Moscow. The doctors managed to restore health and save the injured eye.

Communicating with the cadets and youth soldiers during the lesson, Alexander Golovashkin noted that it is impossible to live on the same merits.

“When society considers you the best or the hero, you understand that you have no right to let your hopes down and you have no right to spoil this title, you must move on with dignity. It is impossible to live on the previous merits, so every day you need to work on yourself, improve yourself, so that today you can take an example from you, ”said Alexander Golovashkin.

At the end of the Lesson of Courage, an online ceremony of joining the ranks of the UNARMIA movement was held for 69 schoolchildren of School No. 604 in the Pushkin District.
