Washington, DC – Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement on COVID relief negotiations:
“Unemployment benefits run out in less than a week, while millions of Americans face food insecurity this holiday season. Meanwhile, Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans keep delaying COVID relief negotiations. Americans have been waiting for another COVID relief package since March. They need help and they need it now. Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans need to do what’s right for once and agree to the bipartisan deal without attaching a poison pill and let us vote!”
