December 19, 2020 marks the 80th anniversary of the formation of one of the units of the Paramilitary Mine Rescue Detachment of the Far East – Lipovetsky Militarized Mine Rescue Point. Currently, Lipovetsky VGSP serves 15 open-pit mines, 39 open pits and other mining facilities.

On this day, exactly 80 years ago, the Inspection of the VGSS of the Far East was renamed the Headquarters of the VGSS of the Far East and 4 units were organized, which became the basis of the paramilitary mine rescue detachment of the Far East.

Today the number of the mine rescue detachment of the Far East is 331 people. Its subdivisions are deployed in the Primorsky Territory, Khabarovsk Territory, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and carry out mine rescue services for hazardous industrial mining facilities (mines, quarries and mines) located in the Amur Region, Primorsky Territory, Khabarovsk Territory, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) ) and the Jewish Autonomous Region.
