The third day of the Russian championship in swimming in a 25-meter pool, which takes place at the Swimming Center in St. Petersburg, brought the army team seven medals – three gold, two silver and two bronze.

Lieutenant Anton Chupkov showed the best result – 2 minutes 2.10 seconds – at a distance of 200 m breaststroke. Kirill Prigoda finished second with a score of 2 minutes 2.49 seconds. Lieutenant Oleg Kostin won the bronze medal – 2 minutes 2.61 seconds.

Daria Vaskina and Warrant Officer Vladislav Grinev as part of the Moscow team climbed to the first step of the podium in the mixed combined relay 4×50 m. Athletes from Moscow showed a result of 1 minute 39.93 seconds, beating the representatives of the Novosibirsk region (1 minute 42.15 seconds) and Belgorodsky area (1 minute 42.57 seconds).

At a distance of 200 m on the back, showing a time of 2 minutes 8.53 seconds, Sergeant Daria Ustinova became the second. Sergeant Irina Krivonogova climbed to the third step of the podium – 2 minutes 9.02 seconds. Anastasia Klyarovskaya took the lead with a result of 2 minutes 6.55 seconds.

Also, the silver medalist of the national championship in St. Petersburg was Alexander Sadovnikov, who became the second at a distance of 100 m butterfly. The soldier showed a time of 50.16 seconds, losing to Mikhail Vekovishchev (49.77 seconds), but bypassing Andrei Minakov (50.22 seconds).
