The African Development Bank Group is delighted to share with you its draft new Strategy for Economic Governance in Africa (SEGA) for your kind review and comments.
Key stakeholders targeted for the consultations include government officials from the ministry of finance and economic development (or equivalent ministry), technical experts in government institutions and relevant regulatory authorities, civil society organizations, youth groups involved in issues related to economic governance, regional economic communities, the private sector, academia, and multilateral and bilateral development partners.
The external stakeholders’ consultations are designed to: present the proposed Strategy for Economic Governance in Africa (2021-2025), its strategic approach pillars, sub-pillars and areas of intervention; to obtain stakeholder feedback on governance issues in general and on the Bank’s proposed approach in particular, and to identify complementarities and opportunities for collaboration.
Feedback received from key stakeholders would benefit the Bank Group in finalizing the Bank’s new Strategy for Economic Governance in Africa to enhance dialogue and policy impact in its RMCs.
