Source: Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs # LüftenHilft – this is the motto of a joint campaign for infection protection-compliant ventilation by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS), the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) and the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV). Shortly before Christmas, the three institutions want to emphasize once again the great value of regular ventilation for protection against corona infections. State Secretary Björn Böhning emphasizes at the start of the campaign:
Consistent ventilation with fresh air has proven to be an important contribution to infection protection. In view of the coming holidays, I strongly recommend that you ventilate just as thoroughly at family meetings as in companies, schools and daycare centers. The information created jointly by the experts from DGUV, BAuA and BMAS shows how it works!
Employers’ liability insurance associations and accident insurance companies have been supporting companies with practical tips and good materials for operational prevention since the beginning of the pandemic. Stefan Hussy:
Ventilation is one of the most effective and at the same time easiest measures that help us to avoid infections with the corona virus. Our campaign draws attention to this with simple and low-threshold messages that are mainly disseminated online and via our social media channels.
These small messages are supplemented and supported by practical tips and information on a specially created website at www.lueftenhilft.de. There you will find the relevant information from the participating institutions on the subject of ventilation. BauA President Isabel Rothe appeals:
Ventilation helps in the professional as well as in the private environment, in the company, in schools, daycare centers and in the home, especially when people from different households come together. Distance, hygiene, everyday masks and ventilation – that remains the basic recipe against corona infections that we should all heed over the holidays and the entire winter.
The first motif of the campaign is advertised today on social media channels and through advertisements. The campaign will continue into January with additional motifs.
