The scouts of the combined arms army of the Eastern Military District, stationed in the Amur Region, Khabarovsk Territory and the Jewish Autonomy, began field training during the winter training period. Classes are held in open areas and at specialized educational complexes – “scout path”.

The “scout’s trail” includes 22 obstacles, including a board fence, a stone fence, a wall, a moat, a standard NATO fence, a passage through a minefield and other typical obstacles that scouts may encounter when performing a combat mission.

In addition, during the passage of the strip, the scouts perform various sabotage tasks with the neutralization of the sentry conditional enemy, undermining the railway track and mining objects.

During trainings, standard AK-74 assault rifles and special silent weapons AS Val and VSS Vintorez are used. To bring the situation closer to combat, various means of imitation and blank ammunition are used.

In total, about 500 military personnel are participating in the training. The best squads and groups will be selected for participation in the competition “Excellence in Military Intelligence”.
