For pedestrians, two overpasses and a tunnel will be created.
A project for the construction of multi-level transport interchanges in the south-east of the capital has been approved. New road facilities will appear at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with Verkhniye Polya and Kapotny Streets, as well as on the territory of the Dzerzhinsky and Kotelniki urban districts near Moscow. This was told by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Andrey Bochkarev.
“This is a large-scale project, within the framework of which, among other things, the reconstruction of more than 3.5 kilometers of the direct route of the Moscow Ring Road with the device of transitional speed lanes will be carried out, as well as the construction of several new overpasses. For pedestrians, two overhead crossings will be created: along the exit from Novoyegoryevskoye Highway to the inner side of the Moscow Ring Road and across Verkhniye Polya Street, as well as a pedestrian tunnel, ”the vice mayor said.
During the reconstruction, repair work is envisaged at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with Kapotnya and Energetikov streets. On the outside of the Moscow Ring Road there will be a new entrance to the Object shooting complex, as well as an access road to the Petrovsky auto center.
The chairman Moskomexpertiza Valery Leonovadded that according to the approved project, the overhead pedestrian crossing along the exit from Novoyegoryevskoye Highway to the inner side of the Moscow Ring Road includes four exits, which will be located on two sides of Verkhniye Polya Street, as well as on the inner and outer sides of the Moscow Ring Road.
“One of the descent towers will provide pedestrian communication with the Mega Belaya Dacha shopping center, and the crossing will be equipped with lifts. A pedestrian overpass across Verkhniye Polya Street will be built with two descent towers: at the bus stop in the direction of the Moscow Ring Road (next to the Sadovod shopping center) and at the bus stop in the direction of the city center (near the Kuzminki park) “, – Valery Leonov said.
At the expense of the Targeted Investment Program, it is planned to build 270 kilometers of roads, 89 artificial structures and 56 pedestrian crossings in Moscow in the next three years.
