In a program intended for a 38-year-old convict serving a sentence in IK-3 (Irkutsk), colony officers found 610 packs of cigarettes without special excise stamps.

A woman who tried to transfer cigarettes to the colony was detained in the room for receiving parcels and transfers to convicts. Police officers were called to draw up the protocol. While inspecting the detainee’s car, the police found another 890 packs of tobacco products without special signs. The cigarettes were packed in plastic bags. The find was withdrawn.

In the actions of a citizen, there are signs of a crime under the article “Production, acquisition, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products without marking and (or) applying information provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation.” The penalty will be determined by the court.
