Headline: New COVID-19 clinics and increased operations for Northern Beaches
From Thursday 17 December 2020, three new pop-up testing clinics will open at the following locations:
- Avalon pop-up
Opening hours: 7 days from 8am to 10pm
Address: Avalon Recreation Centre, 59 Old Barrenjoey Road, Avalon - Newport pop-up
Opening hours: 7 days from 8am to 10pm
Address: Newport Community Centre, 11-13 The Boulevard, Newport - Warringah Aquatic Centre drive-through
Opening hours: 7 days from 8am to 10pm
Address: 1 Aquatic Drive, Frenchs Forest
The new testing clinics are open until 10pm and will continue to operate if required to help meet the demand for community testing.
Additional Northern Beaches testing centres include:
- Brookvale Community Health Centre
Opening hours: 7 days from 8am to 6pm
Address: 612-624 Pittwater Road, Brookvale - Mona Vale Hospital
Opening hours: 7 days from 7:30am to 5.30pm. Additional staffing has been increased to assist with testing
Address: Gate 3 Coronation Street, Mona Vale - Northern Beaches Hospital
Opening hours: 7 days from 8am to 5pm
Address: 105 Frenchs Forest Road (West), Frenchs Forest, (rear of Emergency Department)
NSW Health urges the community to monitor for symptoms, immediately come forward for testing and isolate until a negative result is received.
