This took place with the lively participation of numerous spectators and listeners, who were able to contribute by asking the panelists. The event made clear how participation in working life, in which education and politics are inextricably linked. Political participation is essential for an inclusive society. Transparent decision-making processes and good resources are important prerequisites for the effective participation of people with disabilities. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the planned new EU strategy for people with disabilities are important pointers here.
