The cleaning of explosives from the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh continues.

Specialists of the International Mine Action Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense use modern multifunctional robotic systems “Uran-6” in the course of demining and clearing the territory from explosive objects, which allow maintaining a high rate of demining in mountainous terrain and worsening weather.

Over the past day, another 9.5 kilometers of roads have been cleared of explosive objects. In total, engineering units of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Nagorno-Karabakh have cleared 175 hectares of terrain, more than 49 kilometers of roads, over 400 housing buildings and social facilities, and found and neutralized about 5,000 explosive objects.

Discovered explosive objects and unexploded ammunition are removed and destroyed at a specially equipped landfill. Ammunition that cannot be evacuated is destroyed on site with all necessary security measures in place.

In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 Moscow time on November 10 this year. a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh have been declared.

With the assistance of Russian peacekeepers in the areas affected by the war, the restoration of vital engineering communications continues.
