With the servicemen of the Marine Corps of the Caspian Flotilla (CFL), practical exercises in airborne training (ATP) with parachute jumps are held. At the same time, special attention is paid to the preparation of young recruits.

With the young recruits, upon arrival at the unit, training camps were held, during which the recruits studied the design and procedure for laying the parachute, worked out the elements of the jump at specially equipped training places. Upon completion of the training course, the young marines passed the tests for admission to the landing.

All servicemen arriving from military commissariats to recruit the KFL marine corps undergo training under the VAR program. During the training period, each of them will make 4-6 parachute jumps from aircraft and helicopters of various types of military transport aviation.

At the moment, in the course of practical training on airborne tactics, about 100 marines daily airborne from Mi-8AMTSh “Terminator” helicopters. Jumps are performed in various weather conditions, both during the day and at night. It is planned to carry out at least 6 airborne landings daily.

In the winter period of training, the KFL marines will have to make about 2 thousand parachute jumps, perform combat training with small arms and armored personnel carriers, conduct special training in loading equipment onto landing ships and landing troops, and “black berets” will take part on long voyages of ships of the flotilla.
