EUIPO User Group meets virtually
On 16 December, the Office hosted an informative session with 13 representatives from 10 user associations of the EUIPO User Group: Online Informative Session on Enhancing User Experience of Tools and Procedures.
In accordance with the SP2025 vision, namely to deliver IP value for businesses and citizens, the Office aims to continue maximising user satisfaction. To this end, the Office is working to enhance the user experience of EUIPO tools and procedures, and to continue offering innovative digital services, while promoting the successful use of IP, especially among SMEs.
The purpose of this informative session was to present and collect feedback from users on the landing page and a demo of the EasyFiling application. The session also included a presentation of the GIview tool, launched in the GI/TM Conference co-organised with DG AGRI on 25 November. The state of play of ongoing initiatives in support of SMEs and the initiatives to improve access to examiners was also presented.
The Office is committed to continue maintaining direct channels of communication and discussions with user associations, open, flexible and adapted to the current circumstances. The next cycle for the 31st edition of the User Group meeting is planned for spring 2021.
