The Hospital Authority today said an 80-year-old male COVID-19 patient passed away, taking the number of COVID-19 patients who died in public hospitals to 121.
The patient with chronic diseases was admitted to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital on November 23 due to a fever.
He was transferred to the intensive care unit at North District Hospital on December 3 as his condition continued to deteriorate. He passed away last night.
