From the opening remarks by Mikhail Mishustin at the meeting of the Coordination Council for the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection, December 15, 2020

In November, more than 5 billion rubles were allocated from the Government’s reserve fund for these purposes. The decision to allocate additional funding was announced on December 15 at meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council under the Government… Mikhail Mishustin instructed the regional authorities to carefully monitor that patients receive medicines on time.

The situation with the spread of coronavirus is under the close scrutiny of the Government. Every week, meetings of the Presidium of the Coordination Council are held, at which the epidemiological situation in the country is discussed and proposals for the necessary measures are developed. At such meetings, Mikhail Mishustin repeatedly emphasized the importance of a prompt response to any signals related to a shortage of medicines, medical devices and equipment in the regions. According to him, it is necessary that all this be in sufficient quantity.

Russia has already launched a special hotline for medical workers, where they can report problems with medicines and equipment. This work is supervised by the Ministry of Health.
