The new biochemical blood analyzer will be located on the basis of the MSCh-71 branch located in correctional colony No. 5 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Tula Region. The analyzer is designed for a wide range of biochemical studies and allows you to simultaneously study up to 57 blood parameters.

With the help of new medical equipment, the management of the MSCh-71 plans to conduct biochemical blood tests for suspects, accused, convicts held not only in correctional colony No. 5, but also in nearby institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service.

The presence of such modern medical equipment in the institution will significantly reduce the time required for obtaining test results and will help departmental doctors to diagnose various diseases in a timely manner to prescribe appropriate treatment. In addition, studies of the biochemical composition of blood will help to more effectively monitor the patient’s recovery process and, if necessary, adjust treatment.

In addition to a blood analyzer, refrigeration equipment was purchased at the branch of the IK-5 medical unit, the premises of the medical unit were equipped with modern medical furniture and all the necessary equipment. In the future, work to improve the quality of medical care for persons held in the institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service will continue.
