Themed lighting decorations appeared on Nikolskaya and Kuznetsky Most streets, as well as in Kamergersky Lane.
Capital utilities have already decorated the city for the New Year and Christmas. On some of the central streets of Moscow, citizens and guests of the capital can admire the “Starry Sky” all year round. These are light installations made of garlands stretched between houses. On the streets of Nikolskaya and Kuznetsky Most, as well as in Kamergersky lane, decorations are changed depending on the season or for the holidays.
Blue balls in the form of large Christmas tree decorations appeared on Nikolskaya Street instead of balls with multi-colored butterflies. Gold garlands with glowing snowflakes were hung in Kamergersky Lane. A similar decor appeared on Kuznetsky Most Street.
On the eve of the New Year, “Starry Sky” appeared on the streets of Myasnitskaya and Ilyinka.
Somewhere the decorations remained the same. For example, in Stoleshnikov Lane there are lanterns hanging from cable guides between houses, and Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street is decorated with luminous installations reminiscent of jellyfish.
For decorating streets and New Year’s installations, garlands are used that adorned Moscow before. Additional purchases are not made. After dismantling, the decorations are sent to the warehouse, where specialists clean and repair them so that they will please the townspeople again next year.
In addition, the working light structures are checked daily by workers. If necessary, they are repaired, lamps are changed and the geometry of the garlands is restored.
