The exhibits, which were created by authors from ASEAN countries, highlighted the beauty of the land and people of the ASEAN Community as well as reflected issues regarding environmental protection, climate change and ethnic minorities in the ASEAN Community.

In particular, in celebration of Vietnam’s ASEAN Chair Year 2020, the organising board introduced a selection of the most outstanding photos from the ten ASEAN nations.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao noted that the exhibition is part of the Government’s action programme on promoting ASEAN during 2017-2020 period, the formation of ASEAN Community, and the benefits of the community.

Through the exhibition, Vietnam expressed its determination to join hands with other countries to develop ASEAN Community towards peace, stability and development as well as to raise public awareness on pressing issues such as environmental protection, climate change and ethnic minorities in ASEAN Community.
