A meeting was held in the Admiralty under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov. It summed up the activities on the material and technical support of the actions of the Navy forces during the main combat training events in 2020.

In particular, it was noted at the meeting that great practical experience in the material and technical support of fleet forces in distant sea zones was obtained this year during the Kavkaz-2020 command and control exercise and the Ocean Shield 2020 operational exercise.

During these exercises, support forces from all fleets were involved.

Support vessels replenished stocks of materiel, acting at the inter-fleet level. In total, during the events, about 13 thousand tons of reserves were supplied directly to the sea. “Timely fulfillment of the material and technical support measures made it possible to fulfill the tasks assigned to the troops (forces) of the Navy without disruptions and transfers,” noted the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, following the meeting.
